Hingham Teen Dies After Riding On Car's Rear Bumper
HINGHAM (CBS) - A Hingham teen has died following a tragic accident just a week after graduation.
Hingham police said 18-year-old Sean Ryan climbed onto the rear bumper of a friend's car. It traveled a short distance to a driveway, but the teen apparently fell off and was seriously injured.
Ryan, who had just graduated from Hingham High School a week earlier, was taken to South Shore Hospital, where he died Saturday night.

Police said unopened alcohol was found in the car, which was driven by 19-year-old Nicholas O'Keefe of Hingham, but they said O'Keefe was not impaired or under the influence.
Police added that they expect to file charges when their investigation is completed.
