Hingham Starstruck For "The Fighter" Premier
HINGHAM (CBS) - Hollywood Actor Mark Walhberg will be in town Wednesday night to present a special advance screening of "The Fighter", a true story about two brothers who try to bring pride to a hardscrabble life in their hometown of Lowell, Mass.
The inspirational movie spotlights the life of Massachusetts boxer "Mickey Ward".
Ward trains with his older brother, a former boxing hero, whose glory days have passed.
Walhberg, a Boston native, will be joined at the screening by other stars from the movie to benefit The Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation, an organization that provides resources to inner city kids.
WBZ-TV's Bill Shields reports from the red carpet.
"The Fighter" opens to audiences city-wide on December 10th.
