Turkeys Look For 'Safe Haven' At Hingham Police Department
HINGHAM (CBS) -- A couple of feathered friends stopped by the Hingham Police Department Monday.
The department tweeted out a photo of four turkeys outside their department, joking that they were "looking for a safe haven at our front door."
In recent years, turkeys have been sighted more frequently in Massachusetts towns, where they have sometimes displayed aggressive behavior. In September, one was even spotted walking along the Leverett Connector in Boston.
