Highway Delivery For Rush Hour Twins In Gloucester
GLOUCESTER (CBS) - The highway turned into a delivery room on Route 128 in Gloucester Tuesday, not once, but twice.
A mom delivered twins while paramedics were rushing her to the hospital.
The baby boy and baby girl arrived within minutes of each other.
"All of a sudden she said 'uh oh' and I looked up and the baby started to come out," Paramedic Linda Hayes said. "My partner Jeff was driving. So I said Jeff, pull over!"
Mom and both babies eventually made it to Beverly Hospital where they are all said to be doing well.
