Heyman: Jacoby Ellsbury's Free Agent Destinations Down To Four

BOSTON (CBS) -MLB insider Jon Heyman of CBS Sports was a brief guest on Tuesday's Gresh & Zolak show, but plenty of Red Sox hot stove talk was covered in a short amount of time.

First, the biggest news of the day was the acquisition of veteran free agent catcher A.J. Pierzynski.

Andy Gresh expressed concern earlier in the show about the soon-to-be 37-year-old's prickly personality and whether or not he will mesh right into the Red Sox clubhouse.

Heyman admits that the aging former All-Star is very outspoken, but deep down he's a good guy and Gresh shouldn't worry about how he'll fit here in Boston.

Another topic of discussion was that of  free agent outfielder Jacoby Ellsbury. What's the latest on him?

Heyman is of the mind that Ellsbury's suitors are now down to four.

"I think Yankees, Boston, San Francisco and Seattle are the four most likely destinations. The Dodgers are a possibility but they would have to trade two outfielders first, so that's a long shot. It'll probably be one of the coasts: Boston, New York, San Francisco or Seattle."

Roche: Why The A.J. Pierzynski Signing Makes Sense For Red Sox

"He's got four pretty good players there. He's from the Seattle area so I wouldn't rule them out entirely. Naturally a contending team has the advantage."

What will happen with the remaining Red Sox free agents? Will the Red Sox deal away any starting pitchers? If so, what would they be looking for in return?
