Herschel Walker Wins MMA Debut
Former Heisman Trophy winner and NFL RB Herschel Walker defeated Greg Nagy via TKO in the 3rd round at Strikeforce - Miami in his first MMA bout. He donated all of the fight money to charity. The 47 year old Walker is unsure when or if he will step in the cage again.
Also on the card; Nick Diaz defeated Marius Zaromskis via TKO in the 1st round to become the Strikeforce Welterweight Champion. Former WWE star Bobby Lashley def. Wes Sims (TKO Round 1); Robbie Lawler def. Melvin Manhoef (TKO Round 3); and Jay Hieron def. Joe Riggs (unanimous decision).
