Hernandez Out, Chung Questionable For Patriots
BOSTON (CBS) - The New England Patriots will be without a key offensive player in Buffalo on Sunday, but they might have a key player on the other side of the ball after all.
Tight end Aaron Hernandez has been ruled out for Sundays game against the Bills, along with offensive lineman Sebastian Vollmer (back) and defensive lineman Mike Wright (concussion). Hernandez strained his MCL in New England's 35-21 win over the San Diego Chargers, and could miss up to six weeks.
Safety Patrick Chung, who had surgery on his right thumb earlier in the week, is listed as questionable for Sunday's game. Chung was at the media portion of practice on Friday with a cast covering his hand.
