Herman Cain Tries To Get Campaign Back On Track In New Hampshire
MANCHESTER, NH (CBS) -Herman Cain has spent the last month putting out fires. First, sexual harassment charges created a national controversy, then a video that went viral where Cain seemed confused about Libya.
He sat down for a one on one interview with WBZ Reporter Lauren Leamanczyk.
"Some Americans are wondering are you ready to president?," asked Leamanczyk. "I'm ready to be president because of my leadership experience. Leaders don't have to have all the answers," Cain responded.

Instead, he says he'll surround himself with experts.
"I don't need to know all of the details. The commanders on the ground, the intelligence agencies and the military people they need to know the details. I need to provide the leadership."
As for the harassment claims, Cain says voters don't care.
"You're right it is showing up in the poll numbers. But the good news is most people are not believing these empty, false accusations that are being leveled against me," he insisted.
Cain is now trying hard to get back on message.
"Day one, what does President Herman Cain do to start putting people back to work," Leamanczyk asked Cain.

"I will get members of Congress who will have been re-elected to draft the legislation for my 9-9-9 economic growth and jobs plan so that when congress goes into session in 2013, we will be ready to go."
We asked why he's focused on a tax plan instead of a jobs plan.
"Businesses hire people. This 9-9-9 plan is intended to inspire businesses to grow. Right now they're in a survival mode. Government doesn't create jobs. Businesses do," Cain said.
Cain also told reporters he's not sure he can catch Mitt Romney in New Hampshire. Instead, he said, he thinks he can be a strong second place finisher.
