This will continue through the end of the week. Highs will range between 50-55F/55-60F Cape/Islands today. Temperatures will slightly increase to near 60F by Friday. The stubborn pattern will let go of its grip this weekend. Here is a look at the 500H weakening low on Friday ...
Weekend Forecast: The vertically-stacked upper level low will move east of the area on Saturday. While I believe Saturday will basically be dry, I will keep a chance of a spot shower/storm during the afternoon since this pattern has proven that progress is SLOW. Sunday will be partly *sunny* with a backdoor cold front/cool onshore breeze keeping highs in the middle 60s...cooler coast.
