Here it Comes Again...

This was the coldest morning in Boston since late last January...nearly a year...the low was 10 degrees.  Many in the burbs saw single digits.  But the arctic air is already moving out and warmer air is working in.  This is occurring aloft first, hence the increasing clouds by the end of the week we will really feel the balmy air again.  Highs tomorrow will reach the upper 30s with some morning passing clouds and maybe a midday flurry followed by sunnier and breezy conditions.  Friday will feature another surge of warmth...with the warmfront passing in the morning once again flurries will be possible then partial clearing and highs in the mid 40s.  The warm flow continues into the weekend with highs very close to 50 again on Saturday...a coldfront will be advancing and by afternoon should be passing through.  This will lead to cooler lower 40s on Sunday.  Speaking of Sunday, yesterday we were talking about a small chance for rain or snow...that chance keeps getting smaller as the lack of phasing will keep the developing storm to our south.

No snow in sight...and temps of 40 or better over the next week.
