Heavy Rain, Winds Cause Flooding, Downed Power Lines Across Eastern Mass.

BOSTON (CBS) -- Heavy rainfall and winds throughout the day has led downed power lines and major flooding along the coastal cities and towns.

High winds caused the Steamship Authority to cancel its afternoon commutes between Vineyard Haven, Woods Hole, Nantucket and Hyannis.

Residents in Hull are without power after a transformer caught fire.

Large limbs snapped off a tree in Fairhaven bringing down power lines with it.
