Heavy Rain Coming Sunday Afternoon, Evening
BOSTON (CBS) – If you're making weekend plans, a clear and cool Saturday will be the choice, because there is another storm on the way for Sunday afternoon and night.
According to WBZ-TV meteorologist Todd Gutner, there will be a "Nor'easter type storm" that will bring about an inch of rain to southern New England.

It will start early in the afternoon, with the height of the storm coming between 7 p.m. and midnight.
If you're heading to Gillette Stadium Sunday for the Patriots-Bills game, it will be soaking wet. (You can watch the game on WBZ-TV at 4:25 p.m.)
The storm will end overnight, long before the rush hour commute begins Monday morning.
Gutner says the heavy rain may bring down cold air and could mix in wet snow flakes, but no significant accumulation is expected because the temperatures won't drop enough.
Coastal wind gusts could reach 40 miles per hour.
The biggest concern will be in northern New England, which is still recovering from an ice storm.
Several inches of heavy, wet snow is likely there and it could cause more power outages.
Six-to-12 inches could fall in the far northern ski areas, according to WBZ-TV meteorologist Barry Burbank.
Looking ahead to next week, expect frigid temperatures in the teens for New Year's Eve and the single digits for New Year's Day.
