Heating Up...

That must have been a top 10 Summer day...wow...low 80s, no humidity and lots of sunshine...awesome!  Let's turn up the heat a little bit...not that I want it.  Hot air is on our doorstep and will move during the day tomorrow.  Preceding the heat will be a few showers and rumbles of thunder in the morning then the hazy sun and very humid air slides in behind them...highs will reach the lower 90s for most...a little cooler in SE Mass with the SW wind.

Saturday looks very hot as well but a westerly wind will clear out some of the humidity so it won't be as oppressive.  Late Saturday evening a coldfront will get into the picture and a solid line of storms will be working from NW New England through SE New England during the course of the night.  The front will likely get hung up for a short time in SE MA so lingering showers will be seen on The Cape Sunday morning.  The air will be a little less hot following hte front for Sunday afternoon but should still close in on 90 in a few spots.

A shallow trough will take up shop in the Northeast early next week and that means normal Summer temps in the lower 80s and a few thunderstorms from time to time...nothing abnormal for the 4th!
