Heat, Humidity & Storms on the Way Out...
After another very active thunderstorm evening, with numerous trees knocked down causing power outages, we are about to be rewarded with a tranquil Friday. The coldfront is working through Northern New England and will pass by morning. There is still a little convection out ahead of the front...another mini line if you will...nothing severe at this time but more lightning and heavy downpours possible between 11-midnight. Following that the air will dry out nicely by morning.
Tomorrow will be a beauty...cooler, lower humidity...some filtered sunshine...nice finish to the workweek. The weekend is still looking iffy with overrunning shower moving back in as early as Saturday afternoon and some decent rain early Sunday.
