Heat Favored By Two Points In Game 6 Against Celtics
BOSTON (CBS) -- LeBron James and the Miami Heat have their backs against the walls for Game 6 in Boston on Thursday night, but they still have Vegas on their side.
The Heat, trailing the Celtics 3-2 in the Eastern Conference finals, are once again favorites for Game 6.
According to Covers.com, four out of seven sportsbooks list the Heat as two-point favorites, while the other three have the Heat favored by 1.5 points.
In Game 5, the Heat were favored by eight points but ultimately lost by four.
Being the underdogs is nothing new for the veteran Celtics team, though, as nearly every basketball expert on the planet picked the Heat to win in either five, six or seven games. That thought spread even greater once Miami took a 2-0 series lead, but the Celtics have shocked just about everyone by winning three straight, putting themselves in position to win the series on Thursday night.
The Heat have outscored the Celtics 480-478 thus far in the series, though the Celtics outscored the Heat by 12 combined points in the two games that took place in Boston.
