Haynesworth A Go For Patriots In Season Opener
BOSTON (CBS) - New England Patriots defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth was listed as questionable on the injury report on Saturday.
Now the big man is active and ready to play against the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football.
This is a good thing. Haynesworth, who missed Saturday's practice with an illness, had troubles staying healthy in Washington and if he were to miss New England's season opener, many people would have wondered if he was back to his old tricks.
Also, the Patriots have promoted Thomas Welch from the practice squad. He is now on the 53 man roster. To make room the Pats have waived linebacker Jeff Tarpinian.
