Harvard Police Add Patrols After Woman Assaulted In Front Of Dorm
BOSTON (CBS) - Harvard University police are on the lookout for two men they believe assaulted a woman in front of a campus dorm.
An undergraduate student told investigators she was walking through the courtyard of the Quincy House around 1:30 a.m. Monday, when two men grabbed her and tried to pull her back to the building.
She says she fought them off and was able to escape.
The woman was not hurt in the attack, police say. More uniformed officers will now patrol the area.
Harvard police are urging anyone with information to call them at 617-495-1796. Police are also reminding students to be vigilant and walk in well-lit areas with other people when possible.
