Guide To Ski Butternut
Ski Butternut is in Great Barrington about 15 minutes from the Mass Pike. It has 22 trails and 11 lifts. There is also an eight-lane tubing center.

From Boston:
Take I-90 west to exit 2 in Lee, MA; take Route 102 west into Stockbridge.
At the Red Lion Inn make a left turn onto Route 7 south;
Take Route 7 south toward Great Barrington
At the third traffic light make a left turn onto Route 23 East;
Take Route 23 about 1 mile to the entrance sign of Ski Butternut.
When you get off the MA pike you are about 15 minutes from the ski area.

Lessons:
Group lessons start every day at 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. They are 1.5 hours long. They cost $40.
Private lessons start every day at 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. They cost $95 for an hour ($50 for additional person), $250 for three hours, or $420 for six hours.
What Else To Do At The Mountain:
The mountain has a 8-lane tubing park that's on the far left side of the main parking lot. It costs $18 for two hours.
