Guide To Bousquet Mountain Ski Area
Bousquet Mountain is in Pittsfield, about two hours west of Boston. It was voted "Best Downhill Skiing in the Berkshires" in the 2010 Berkshire Eagle Readers' poll. The mountain boasts of raising five U.S. Olympic skiers. It has 23 trails.

Take Exit 2 off the Massachusetts Turnpike to Routes 20 & 7 North. Follow signs for Bousquet and Pittsfield Airport (left at light onto Dan Fox Drive for 1 mile).

Lessons:
Lessons are held Monday through Friday at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. On weekends and holidays they're at 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Anyone age five and older can sign up, and no reservations are necessary.
Group Lessons -- $40 for one hour
Private Lessons -- $70 an hour, $45 for each additional student
First Time Package includes lift, lesson and rentals for $70
Kids All-Day Programs -- $99 Full Day / $80 Half Day
What Else Is There To Do:
Bousquet Mountain offers tubing for people age five and older. They must be able to ride the tube on their own. A carpet lift carries tubers back to the top of the five tubing chutes.
Tubing Hours:
Thursday and Friday 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Saturday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
