Gronkowski Moves On To Face Calvin Johnson For Madden Cover
BOSTON (CBS) - Rob Gronkowski's dream to be on the Madden '13 cover is still alive, but the New England Patriots tight end has some stiff competition in the third round.
Gronkowski beat out Vikings linebacker Jared Allen in the second round, receiving 65-percent of the fan voting, but now goes against Detroit Lions receiver Calvin Johnson.
Johnson led the NFL in with 1,681 receiving yards last season, and his 16 receiving touchdowns were second to just Gronkowski's 17.

Only eight players remain in the bracket-style voting.
Gronkowski has campaigned to be on the cover of the popular video game, despite the "curse" that seems to haunt most of the players that land on the cover. Gronkowski told Toucher& Rich when the competition began that he was unaware of the famed curse.
