Gronkowski Brothers Heading Home
FOXBORO (CBS) – The Brothers Gronkowski are heading home this weekend, but it's not for a family reunion.
Patriots tight ends Rob and Dan Gronkowksi are heading back to Buffalo on business.
"It's all business for Rob and I right now. We're not thinking about going home to Buffalo, just playing them," Dan said before practice on Wednesday.
The Gronkowski's, all five of them, grew up in Williamsville, New York, not far from Buffalo.
In the Patriots trip up north last season, two of Rob's four receptions were touchdowns as New England rolled to a 34-3 victory. So far this season, he has three touchdowns in the first two games. That alone would make you think there would be quite a Gronkowski-following in Buffalo.
But he won't be taking any ticket requests from friends or family.

"I told them to talk to Dan," he joked. "I'm not really worried about that. Just trying to focus on the Buffalo Bills, not who's in the fans. I could care less who is out there."
Gronkowskis Talk Going Home
"I don't know who's going; I'm not really worried with that," said Rob. "I know it's going to be a loud game going to Buffalo; they're 2-0, and we're 2-0. It's going to be a great, loud game up there."
With fellow tight end Aaron Hernandez out as much as 4-6 weeks with an MCL strain, the Gronkowski's could be in for an even bigger role in the offense.
Both are open to that prospect.
"Whatever the coach's decisions are, whatever they want me to do I have to go out and perform. Do my job wherever they want me to go out," said Rob.

"I'll see what the coaches have in the plan. Right now I'm just getting everything down," said Dan, who joined the team right before the start of the regular season. "Wherever they put me… I'll be prepared for it."
Grinks On Filling The Hernandez Void
In just 18 NFL games, Rob already has 13 career touchdowns. He has quickly become one of Tom Brady's favorite targets, especially in the red zone. In just a short time, Gronkowski has already become a household name in New England.
None of this is surprising to his older brother Dan.
"Rob was always a freak athlete growing up," said the elder Gronk. "He was the one we always beat up when he was younger. He's definitely got that toughness to him too, and you can see it out there in the field."
