Gresh & Zo's No Huddle: Week 13 Highlights
BOSTON (CBS) - Andy Gresh and Scott Zolak go around the NFL to talk about the biggest moments of Week 13, starting with the referee that (stop me if you've heard this before) botched the Sunday Night Football game.
- One of the referees in last night's game between the Giants and Redskins messed up the down marker, which led people to believe that the Redskins had a first down. However, a 3rd-and-1 became a 4th-and-1 which led to confusion on the Redskins sideline. Pierre Garcon couldn't reel in a pass from Robert Griffin III on fourth down and Washington lost 24-17.
- The Miami Dolphins beat the New York Jets 23-3 in the Meadowlands and it was a hard one to watch. The Jets still don't have a quarterback, as Geno Smith was a putrid 4 of 10 for 29 yards and an interception in the first half before being replaced by Matt Simms. Simms didn't fare much better, he completed just 9 passes for 79 yards in the loss.
- Don't look now but the Jacksonville Jaguars have won 3 out of 4 after beating the Cleveland Browns 32-28 yesterday on the road. Browns receiver Josh Gordon had a huge day but it wouldn't be enough. Gordon notched 10 catches for a team record 261 yards. It was the first time in NFL history that a receiver has had consecutive 200+ yard games.
- It was a wild ending in the Vikings/Bears game. Both teams missed field goals in overtime, but it was the foot of Vikings kicker Blair Walsh that ended the tie in the extra period to give Minnesota a 23-20 win. Running back Adrian Peterson had 211 yards on the day.
