Gresh & Zo's No Huddle: Highlights From Wildcard Weekend
BOSTON (CBS) - Andy Gresh and Scott Zolak go around the NFL to talk about the biggest moments coming out of Wildcard Weekend.
- Chiefs coach Andy Reid turned around a dreadful 2-14 team to a respectable 11-5, but an early round exit by his Kansas City team left the veteran coach at a loss for words the following day. You'll hear audio of him comparing the defeat to getting hit over the head with a bat (after giving up the second-biggest comeback in NFL playoff history, that's probably exactly what it felt like).
- Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton was simply awful in his team's 27-10 loss to the Chargers at home. He fumbled once and threw two interceptions in the second half, which led to San Diego scoring drives. We hear from Dalton, who says you need "thick skin" to play the position - but by the sounds of it, he doesn't have very thick skin at all.
- "The Nature Boy" Rick Flair provided a motivational pregame speech to the San Francisco 49ers before their away game in Green Bay, and it may or may not have contributed to the 23-20 victory. Gresh compared Rick Flair to The Wrestler movie because of how over the hill he is - still more convincing than Andy Dalton.
- Lastly, Patriots receiver Julian Edelman is the star of a new smoothie commercial.
