Andy Gresh and Scott Zolak's summer school tour rolls on and travels to South Florida, where the guys educate us all and preview the 2014 season for the Miami Dolphins.
Taking Attendance:
The Miami Dolphins enter 2014 with a new-look offensive line, because as we know Richie Incognito and Jonathan Martin are both out. Brandon Albert, former Pro Bowler for the Chiefs, is in.
The Dolphins have also beefed up the secondary a little bit, adding Louis Delmas and Cortland Finnegan. Knowshon Moreno had a breakout year for the Broncos in 2013 and he'll be joining a Miami backfield of Daniel Thomas and Lamar Miller. Offensive coordinator Mike Sherman is gone, but the team added OC Bill Lazor from Chip Kelly's staff.
Zolak: "If you can protect Ryan Tannehill you've got a chance if you can mix and match some things up. Tannehill is a guy that can make some plays with his legs and bail some guys out. The key is (center) Mike Pouncey up front."
Gresh: "I like what they've done. They've added a dependable guy in Knowshon Moreno who can be your no. 1 guy for a couple of weeks. You can get that out of him. Cortland Finnegan -- we know what he is at this point. He's not going to lock up a no. 1 receiver, but if you look around the division you don't see no. 1 receivers everywhere. I think they've done a nice job trying to add a nice amount of toughness, but they're just not that good across the board."

Are you "all in" on head coach Joe Philbin?
Gresh Arguing For: "How much worse can it get for Joe Philbin? Look at what happened to them last year and what did they do amidst all the controversy? He was steady. He never wavered and they were respectable. Given the situation they had they could have lost the room and lost the team. That doesn't mean he's going to be a Super Bowl winner, but Joe Philbin showed a lot of leadership through all that morass of negativity that makes me think he's going to survive."
Zolak Arguing Against: "All they needed to do was win those final two games and they were in the playoffs. That tells me something right there. Not that they gave up, but him as a coach? I don't know that his team is old enough and have enough veterans."
Fantasy 101:
You're forced to draft a Miami running back, who is it going to be?
"Lamar Miller. He's going to be the starter and I like his ability to catch the ball. Who are friends to young quarterbacks when they can't get the ball downfield? Tight ends and running backs," said Gresh. "Moreno will have a role, but I just think if Lamar Miller stays upright he's going to be the no. 1 guy."
You're forced to draft a Miami wide receiver, who is it going to be?
"I'm taking Brian Hartline. He's not a great player but he can play," said Zolak.
Final Grade:
Last year's team? .500. 8-8. Year before that? 7-9. Vegas has them at 8.5 wins. Where do they finish and do they make the playoffs?
Zolak: "No. They will be a .500 football team again. 8-8."
Gresh: "I think this team takes one step forward, 9-7, but they do not make the playoffs. They do just enough to get things going in a direction towards a championship, but not enough to really pull ahead or get people fired."
