Gresh & Zo's 2014 NFL Summer School: Indianapolis Colts

BOSTON (CBS) – It's not your typical classroom. They're not your typical teachers. It's where you go after failing all year. It's Gresh and Zo's NFL Summer School on 98.5 The Sports Hub!

After closing out the AFC East and AFC North, Andy Gresh and Scott Zolak's Summer School tour ventured to the AFC South on Wednesday morning, where the guys educate us all and preview the 2014 season for the Indianapolis Colts.

Taking Attendance:

The Colts' offseason talk has centered mostly around their owner and not their team. Jim Irsay was arrested back in March for DWI and drug possession, but still no word has come down from the NFL regarding punishment for the incident. Indy signed former Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks and also brought in safety Mike Adams, linebacker D'Qwell Jackson and defensive tackle Arthur Jones, brother of Patriots defensive end Chandler Jones.

Wideout Reggie Wayne, 35, is back in the mix after tearing his ACL last season and pass rusher Robert Mathis has been suspended for the first four games for violating the league's substance abuse policy.

Hardy: "Are we just going to gloss over the whole Jim Irsay thing? It fascinates me that nothing has been done so far with this team's owner. It's the most outrageous double standard in sports right now that the owner can behave like this."

Gresh: "They want to work the two-tight end set but Coby Fleener and Dwayne Allen haven't been able to stay healthy. The Colts have hit their level for right now and need to take some hits this season to get over it."

Pop Quiz:

Will the Trent Richardson trade ultimately be viewed as a success?

Gresh Arguing For: "I think the Colts need to adapt to him a little bit and what he does best. He is much more of a north-south type guy. They ran some stretch stuff with him last year because they are not a power football team. He is a power runner. I think Richardson will end up being okay. I don't think he'll ever be an elite guy. If they adapt to him he can get 1,100 yards."

Hardy Arguing Against: "It's not going to work. You want him to be a diversion for defenses so they don't key on Andrew Luck all the time. To do that, you need to be a threat to break it and go the distance. He doesn't do that. He never has. I've never seen him carry the ball for more than 10 yards. For the most part he's two, three yards a pop."

Fantasy 101:

How many quarterbacks do you draft before Andrew Luck?

Hardy: "Based on what I just said about him having no running game. I don't now.  Three?"

Gresh: "Andrew Luck is probably going to be in the five, six range."

Trent Richardson's fantasy value?

Gresh: "Not good. Maybe I'll take a flyer on him late."

Hardy: "He hasn't shown me anything that would say he's worth drafting."

Pick one Colts wide receiver to take in your fantasy draft: Reggie Wayne, T.Y. Hilton or Hakeem Nicks?

Gresh: "I'm taking T.Y. Hilton because I think those other two guys on the outside are going to draw a lot of coverage."

Final Grade:

The Colts have gone 11-5 the past two years. Vegas has set their over/under at 9.5 wins. Do they go over/under and do they make the playoffs?

Hardy: "Hit me. They're going over and making the playoffs."

Gresh: "I would agree with both."
