Zo started things off going after first baseman Adrian Gonzalez for becoming a rat and texting ownership about his dislike of manager Bobby Valentine's handling of Jon Lester. Valentine left the starter in a game on July 22, when the lefty allowed 11 earned runs over four innings. This text led to a meeting between players and ownership a few days later.
