Gresh & Zo: Shaughnessy in Studio, Dissecting Game 4
Dan Shaughnessy joined Gresh and Zo on Monday to talk the Celtics big win in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
Shaughnessy did not give the Celtics much of a chance before the series, but has been impressed by what the C's have shown, especially the last three games.
"I was wrong about the Celtics chances in this thing. I said five games, tops. We're already looking at six, and they might win in six. It's very impressive," he said. "Right now they are taking it to the Heat.
"They are going to get crushed by myself and everybody else if they lose this series. They would richly deserve it, because there is no excuse to lose this series," Shaugnessy said of the Heat. "On the other hand with the Celtics, it's only good things. This is a team that Boston fans are really going to love like they loved every Patriot team, especially the 2001-02 Patriots, teams that just take on that character. I know they make a lot of money, but they're the 'little engine that could' now. People love this team; overachieving, not much of bench, no rebounding and million year old guys, and here they are dominating the Heat for three games in a row."
They also discuss Ray Allen rounding back into form, but does he have enough to keep playing as well as he has recently? And can the Celtics bring this play with them back to Miami?
