Gresh & Zo: Reacting To Ray Rice Video

Andy Gresh and Scott Zolak reacted Monday to the video released by TMZ, which shows Ray Rice clearly punching his then-fiancee in a casino elevator. She fell to the ground, hitting her head on the railing before lying unconscious on the floor. Rice then tried to drag her out of the elevator.

"Based on everything we had heard, it confirms how bad the incident is," Gresh said. "It's inexcusable. And now the NFL has issued a statement saying it is just seeing this video for the first time."

Reports from the summer conflict with that NFL statement, as multiple reporters said that members of the NFL staff had indeed seen the footage from inside the elevator.

"It's hard to believe that Roger Goodell gives a two-game suspension after seeing that," Zolak said.

"The first thing we need to get to the bottom of is did Roger Goodell see this video or not?" Gresh said. "Either way, Goodell loses in this. It's either -- how the hell could you not have seen the video? You guys are the freaking NFL -- how do you not see this video? And if he did, then Roger Goodell has got some questions to answer in terms of what was it on this video that you made you only give him a two-game suspension?"

Zolak said the Ravens have no choice now but to come out and denounce their running back.

"You can't say you have his back now," Zolak said.
