Gresh & Zo: Patriots Head To The Scouting Combine, What's Their Main Focus?
As the NFL Scouting Combine begins at Lucas Oil Stadium, Gresh & Zo discuss the combine and what the New England Patriots need to focus on most while they scout.
The Patriots have seven picks in the first four rounds of the NFL draft and could either draft young talent or use the picks to trade for a proven player.
On offense, the Patriots will be looking to add some help at running back and wide receiver, as well as an offensive lineman for the future.
On the defensive end, its been apparent the last few seasons they need a pass rusher. The Pats ranked 14th in the NFL in 2010 in sacks, but have not gotten to opposing quarterbacks in the playoffs since 2007. They could also use more help in the secondary despite the return of Leigh Bodden in 2011.
Where do you think the Patriots' greatest need is? Do they need more pop on offense, or a playmaker on defense?
