Patrice Bergeron On Gresh & Zo: Nice To Be Back On Track

The Bruins have won 3 in a row for the first time this season and look to make it 4 in a row Thursday night against the Edmonton Oilers.

Bruins Center Patrice Bergeron joined Gresh & Zolak to discuss the recent turnaround by the Bruins. The offense has exploded in the last few games scoring 18 goals in the last 3 games. Is this team back on track?

"It's nice to go back to your system and not forcing plays and you can see the result. That's how you win hockey games, by playing your game. It's nice to be back on track like that," Bergeron said.

Last season this Bruins team had issues scoring on the power play and at the start of this season it looked as though the struggle had carried over. This team has scored power play goals in 3 straight games and are 7 for 39 on the year. Did Bergeron believe that success would start to come and can we believe in what we are seeing with the PP?

"We've always believed that we were doing some good things and it was much better, but obviously when the puck is not going in and you try and get some results. It's nice to see some good things happening, but you want more and I think in the past couple games that's exactly what what we did," the center said.

They went on to discuss the fact that this team seems to be scoring in bunches and finally getting goalie Tuukka Rask his first win between the pipes. How important was it for the guys on the team to get Rask that first win? They also went on to talk about the production from Tyler Seguin and what he adds to Bergeron's game.
