Gresh & Zo: Jeremy Lin Tribute Songs
New York Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin is quickly becoming a big story with his game winning shots and stunning performances on the court. It's hard to believe that this 23-year-old went undrafted in the 2010 NBA Draft.
On July 21, 2010, Lin signed a two-year deal with his hometown Golden State Warriors. On December 9, 2011, the Warriors waived him on the first day of training camp. Three days later the Houston Rockets picked him up, but before the start of the season waived him to clear payroll.
The Knicks claimed Lin off waivers on December 27 to be a backup behind Toney Douglas and Mike Bibby. With Amar'e Stoudemire out due to the death of his brother and an injury to Carmelo Anthony, Lin got a lot of playing time and he has set the world on fire.
People are taking to the internet and writing tribute songs about the undrafted kid from Harvard.
