Gresh & Zo: Bruins Blow Another Third Period Lead
The Bruins went 32-0-0 when leading after two periods last year, but are finding themselves struggling at the ends of games this season. So far this year the B's have blown five third period leads, the latest coming Tuesday night in Winnipeg.
Gresh and Zo began Wednesday's show breaking down the Bruins' 3-1 loss to the Jets. The Black and Gold have now lost two games in a row and now sit five points behind Pittsburgh for first place in the East.
The B's lost Adam McQuaid to injury in the first after he went hard into the boards. The team is already without Chris Kelly, who suffered a broken left tibia, and David Krejci, who according to coach Claude Julien hurt his right leg.
