Gov. Patrick To Announce Cabinet Shake-Up
BOSTON (AP) — Gov. Deval Patrick is planning a major shake-up in his administration as he heads into the final two years of his second term.

An administration official confirmed to The Associated Press on Wednesday that among those top cabinet officials leaving are Health and Human Services Secretary JudyAnn Bigby and Public Safety Secretary Mary Beth Heffernan.
Bigby will be replaced by John Polanowicz, president of Boston's St. Elizabeth's Hospital, while Heffernan will be replaced by Suffolk County Sheriff Andrea Cabral.
Secretary of Administration and Finance Jay Gonzalez also is leaving and will be replaced by Commonwealth Health Insurance Authority Executive Director Glen Shor.
Education Secretary Paul Reville is also leaving.
The shake-up was first reported Wednesday by The Boston Globe.
The official spoke on condition of anonymity because Patrick hasn't publicly confirmed the shake-up.
