Gov. Patrick Speaks At National Urban League Conference In Boston
BOSTON (CBS) - The National Urban League is holding its annual conference in Boston this year.
Governor Deval Patrick delivered opening remarks Monday morning at the Hynes Convention Center.
Patrick told the audience that the city has come a long way since the Urban League last met in Boston some 35 years ago.

The event was titled the "State Of Black Boston."
The Governor said now, Boston is smarter, more diverse, younger, and more dynamic.
The Urban League of Eastern Massachusetts says while the tone of race relations in Boston has improved, work still needs to be done in the areas of infant mortality, poverty and disproportionate imprisonment.
