Gorman On Toucher & Rich: 'No Excuses' For Celtics Against Sorry Bobcats
BOSTON (CBS) - After falling to one of the NBA's best teams on Sunday, the Boston Celtics will now take on the NBA's worst.
The Celtics are in Charlotte Tuesday night to face the Bobcats, who at 13-50 have the league's worst record. The C's and Bobcats will face off twice in the next five days, giving Boston a golden opportunity to nab a couple of victories.

The Bobcats squeaked out a win the last time the two teams met up in February, but Celtics play-by-play man Mike Gorman isn't expecting a repeat of that 94-91 loss.
"They're a sorry bunch," Gorman said of the Bobcats. "The Celtics have them twice in the next three games, so no excuses."

"He's right there. There are a lot of guys that can't judge talent even though they have it," said Gorman. "Michael hasn't been, right from the beginning when he drafted Kwame Brown in Washington, a good judge of talent."

The Bobcats selected Kentucky's Michael Kidd-Gilchrist with the second overall pick in last year's draft, and right now are only getting nine points per game out of him. He has just four points in the last two games, and Gorman isn't convinced he's the real deal -- at least not yet.
"He's good, but someone has to score points on a bad team," he said. "I'm not convinced yet that Gilchrist is that guy. He's not a world-beater, and neither is Kemba Walker."
"Michael Kidd-Gilchrist on a college team was very good… (But in the NBA) he is at best your second guy, and maybe your third guy on a good team," said Gorman.
