Goodell Decision On Brady's Appeal Not Expected Friday
BOSTON (CBS) -- If you were thinking Roger Goodell would dump his decision on Tom Brady's suspension appeal just before the weekend, it doesn't sound like that will be the case.
As first reported by ESPN's Ed Werder, Goodell's ruling will not likely be released on Friday.
Goodell said earlier this week there is no timetable to announce his ruling. Brady appealed his four-game DeflateGate suspension a month ago in a 10-hour hearing at the NFL offices in New York.
The Patriots begin training camp next Thursday, so it would be nice to get a decision from the commish soon. But at least now we can all enjoy our weekends.
