Goldson Wins Suspension Appeal, Will Play Sunday vs. Patriots
BOSTON (CBS) - It looked as though the New England Patriots were going to catch a break on Sunday after Tampa Bay's star safety Dashon Goldson was hit with a one-game suspension.
But Tom Brady and company won't be as lucky, as Goldson won his appeal and was instead fined $100,000 for a helmet-to-helmet hit on New Orleans Saints' running back Darren Sproles last Sunday.

Goldson was also fined $30,000 following Week 1 for a hit on New York Jets tight end Jeff Cumberland. He has a bit of a history for getting penalized for his hard hits, drawing 15 personal fouls since 2010.
The 28-year-old safety is in his first season with the Buccaneers after spending the first six years of his career with the San Francisco 49ers.
