Gloucester Reverses Decision, Will Include Vietnam Memorial In Parade
GLOUCESTER (CBS) - The Vietnam War Memorial in Gloucester will once again be part of the city's Memorial Day parade. An outcry over the initial plan to exclude the memorial encouraged city officials to change the route.
The memorial is located near Gloucester High School. It was initially excluded because of its remote location.

Jeffrey Williams, the director of Veterans' Services says, "We had some logistical issues that we needed to work out to include the Vietnam War Memorial at the high school and those issues have been worked out."
The roughly two-mile parade route will start at Harbor Loop, go through downtown and end at the high school. Participants will salute the World War I, the Korean War, the WWII, and the Vietnam War Memorials.
