Gloucester Holds Annual Greasy Pole Contest

GLOUCESTER (CBS) - Gloucester's annual St. Peter's Fiesta is underway this weekend.

The celebration brings tens of thousands of people to the city. Perhaps the highlight of the festival is the greasy pole contest.

Participants attempt to capture a flag at the end of the pole.

This year, there's a new pole.

Back in August, Tropical Storm Irene toppled the old one.
