Give way to sharks in Chatham
Two sharks have been caught off the coast of Massachusetts in recent weeks, but in both cases they were seen dozens of miles from shore.
Now state officials are saying a 15-foot great white has been spotted just south of Nauset Beach on Cape Cod.
Chatham Harbor Master Stuart Smith tells the Cape Cod Times that a spotter plane saw the shark Sunday chasing seals into breaking surf.

A spokeswoman for the state Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs says sharks are regular visitors to Massachusetts waters and there is no need to avoid the beach, but people should avoid swimming near seals.
