Getting Better...

Sorry about not having a blog for you last night, we had major computer issues.  But it's better now and so is the weather...at least better than the last couple of days.

Before we get into it...have a look at some of the offshore bouys...don't see wave heights this high too often!

The stacked low continues to creep...at a snails pace...to the east.  The heavy rain is gone it has shifted offshore but the clouds are still pesky and overhead especially in southeastern areas.  That cloud canopy will continue to work south and east and while most of it will be gone tomorrow, we still will have to deal with the cyclonic flow...this will lead to an unstable airmass for Coastal regions and much of SE Mass.  Therefore look for cumulus to develop in the morning as convective temp will be attained in those areas for at least the first half of the day.

A zone of high pressure will be working in and the atmosphere will be going through warming so the days to come will be more tolerable by Friday and through the upcoming weekend where temps will be in the 55-60 degree range...we average lower 50s this time of year FYI.  With ridging at the surface and aloft expect a basically sunny stretch...in fact our next storm may not arrive until the middle of next week!  We deserve it!

Lastly, to the men and women of our military, past and present, a special thank you.
