7 Hurt In I-95 Wrong Way Crash
GEORGETOWN (CBS) -- Seven people were hurt in a wrong way crash on I-95 in Georgetown early Sunday afternoon.
Police say an SUV traveling northbound crossed the median near Exit 54 and crashed head-on into a Nissan SUV headed south.
Fire officials say the driver of the Nissan, a woman in her 30s, was taken by Med Flight to Tufts Medical Center, according to Georgetown Fire. Two other adults and four children were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The crash shut down the southbound lanes for a half hour.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
