Gas In Massachusetts Drops 2 More Cents
BOSTON (AP) — Gas prices are continuing to drop across Massachusetts for the 13th straight week.
AAA Southern New England reports Monday that the price of a gallon of self-serve, regular has dropped two cents in the past week to an average of $2.85 per gallon.
That's a 60-cent drop since early September. The price is 19 cents lower than it was a month ago and 53 cents per gallon lower than this time last year.
The national average this week is eight cents lower than in Massachusetts, at $2.77 cents per gallon.
AAA found self-serve, regular selling around the state for as low as $2.71 per gallon and as high as $3.39.
