Fresh Grocer: Finding Good Escarole

BOSTON (CBS) -- Looking for a good head of escarole can be difficult.

When buying a head of the leafy vegetable you want to make sure it's green all the way around and there's no brown on the bottom, that would indicate it's been stored too long.

When you bring it home open it up right away so it can breathe outside of the plastic bag.
