Driver cited after hitting Dedham bridge, causing Commuter Rail delays
DEDHAM – All Foxboro commuter rail trains were canceled through Monday night after an overheight truck hit the East Street Bridge in Dedham earlier in the day.
The MBTA said the trains were canceled so track repairs could be made. Regular service is expected to resume Tuesday morning.
The crash caused big delays for riders trying to get home Monday night.
Commuters had to use the Franklin Line with buses to Foxboro.
The driver of the truck is being cited.
