Franklin High Student Accused Of Sucker Punch Pleads Not Guilty
WRENTHAM (CBS) - The student accused of viciously sucker punching another student at Franklin High School last week was released after posting $1,500 cash bail Monday.
Seventeen-year-old David Salmon pleaded not guilty to a charge of aggravated assault and battery, which is a felony, at his arraignment in Wrentham District Court.

Investigators say Salmon, a junior, was the teen caught on video ambushing 18-year-old Cory Pingeton April 26 in a hallway at the high school.
The video was posted on Twitter a short time after the attack and then taken down.
Jeremiah Ramirez, the teen who is believed to have recorded the video, has not yet been arrested or formally charged.
Pingeton, who is a senior, wound up with a fracture in his face.
Police said Salmon attacked Pingeton because he thought Pingeton was "talking trash" about him.
Salmon was ordered to stay away from Pingeton and Franklin High School.
He's due back in court June 26.
