Four Women Shot, Three Killed In Dorchester; Police Search For SUV
DORCHESTER (CBS/AP) - Four women were shot, and three of them were killed in Dorchester Sunday night.
Police say the women were sitting in a car on Harlem Street around 9 p.m. when someone opened fire.

Two victims died immediately following the shooting. A third victim passed away Monday at the hospital. The fourth victim was shot in the leg and is expected to survive.
Two of the victims who died have been identified by family members as Sharrice Perkins and Kristen "Kae" Lartey. Lartey, of Mattapan, had just graduated from St. John's in New York.
Lartey's cousin, Tyrone McIntosh, says she was, "A very intelligent young lady, well-spoken. We expected great things from her."
Friends say the third woman who died is a mother from Milton.
Police released a photo of a white SUV that was seen driving in the area around the time of the shooting. Investigators are not sure what role, if any, that vehicle may have had in the crime.
The photo of that SUV came from one of the new surveillance cameras police installed in city neighborhoods to crack down on violence.
At this point, no arrests have been made, but Police Commissioner Ed Davis said they collected a significant amount of evidence on scene. Commissioner Davis said that the shooting did not appear to be drug-related. He also noted that he has no reason to believe that the attack was random.
"Up until this weekend, we've had a relatively uneventful summer," Police Commissioner Ed Davis said. "That all changed."
City Councilor Charles Yancey, who was on scene Monday morning, pleaded for anyone with information to come forward.
"This cowardice attack against four women cannot stand. So I'm asking all of the residents of this area who has any information to provide it immediately to the police so that these characters can be taken off the streets," Councilman Yancey said.
Earlier Sunday, a shooting in Roslindale left a man in his 30s dead and three other men injured.
Two more people were shot Sunday night in Dorchester and suffered injuries not considered life-threatening.
