Former Red Sox OF Mike Cameron To Retire
BOSTON (CBS) - Former Red Sox outfielder Mike Cameron has told his current team, the Washington Nationals, that he will retire.
The 39-year-old played for the Red Sox in 2010 and 2011, batting .219 with 7 homers and 24 RBIs in 81 games.
Known for his spectacular outfield defense, Cameron won three Gold Gloves.
He also provided some power at the plate, clubbing 278 home runs in his career.
