Former FBI Agents Want AG To Review John Connolly Case
BOSTON (CBS) - Disgraced FBI Agent John Connolly is getting some support from his former co-workers.
More than 100 former agents have filed two petitions asking Attorney General Eric Holder to review Connolly's case.
The Boston-born Connolly is serving 50 years in prison, which basically amounts to a life sentence, for racketeering, obstruction of justice, and second-degree murder.
Most of those convictions stemmed from Connolly's relationship with James "Whitey" Bulger, who served as an informant.
The former agents say Connolly was just doing what his bosses had told him to.
