Boston Man Gets 7 Years For Forest Hills Station Shooting
BOSTON (AP) — A 19-year-old Boston man has been sentenced to seven years in prison for shooting two women at an MBTA station in January.
Prosecutors say Reginald Price was sentenced Monday after pleading guilty to three counts of armed assault with intent to murder in Suffolk Superior Court.
Authorities say the victims, a 24-year-old woman and a 62-year-old woman, were not Price's intended targets in the Jan. 26 shooting at the Forest Hills station.
Police say the reputed gang member opened fire in the crowded station after being pursued by three rivals he had argued with earlier.
The 24-year-old victim grazed in the head. The older woman was struck in the abdomen.
She said in an impact statement that her injuries have left her "unable to perform many daily chores and activities."
